Build and check a complete campaign

Make an invitation, a three-slide presentation and a captioned video for one fictional event. Compare all facts and open every exported file.

Written steps
  1. Step 1

Now we will bring the course work together as a small campaign. The goal is one invitation, three presentation slides and a short video for the same fictional garden day. Agree the date, time, place and next action first. Use this shared fact sheet when checking every deliverable.

  2. Step 2

Here is a separate copy of our three-slide presentation. The first slide invites people, the second explains the activities, and the third tells them how to join. Keep the same colours, fonts and illustration. Give the copy a clear name so you can distinguish the final campaign from practice files.

  3. Step 3

Review each slide at a readable size. First check Saturday, the fifteenth of May, twenty twenty-seven, from ten am to one pm. Next check the three activities. The final slide says where to meet and what to bring. Correct any differences in the design before exporting.

  4. Step 4

Open Share, then Download. Choose PDF. Keep Digital and check that All pages are selected. Click Download. This file is for reading and sharing digitally. If someone needs to edit, agree a suitable editable format or appropriate access to the original design.

  5. Step 5

The first slide also works as a simple invitation. Select page one. Open Share and Download again. Choose PNG. Select This page and check that it is page one. Click Download. Check the downloaded image separately. A correct document does not prove that the right individual page was selected.

  6. Step 6

For the video, use the actual MP four export from the captions lesson. Its date, time, activities and closing invitation must match the other materials. The captions are part of the picture. Check the entire file with sound, including the final sentence. Listen to the short video now.

  7. Step 7

Collect the checked files with clear names: invitation as PNG, presentation as PDF, and video as MP four. Keep the fact sheet and links to the editable originals too. Open every file from the delivery folder. This helps you catch missing files and old versions before sharing.

  8. Step 8

Review the materials as a recipient. Is the purpose clear, is the text readable, and is the next action obvious? Compare the date and time across all files. Adapt the format to the actual channel and audience. Try a new fictional event, then repeat the complete check after every important correction.
