A Canva Doc works well for a plan that people read in order. We will make a short work plan with a title, an introduction, three tasks, and a small schedule table. Then we will export an A four PDF and check the actual file, not just the editor. Start with a blank Doc from Create a design. Choose Doc, Digital. Click the empty title and type Garden day work plan. Press Enter to start a normal paragraph. Give the design a recognizable name at the top, so you can find it again later. Type: We meet in the Community Garden and divide the tasks. Everyone can take part. Press Enter after the paragraph. Keep the introduction short so the reader understands the purpose quickly. Begin a new paragraph when you change the subject. Click Text styles. Choose Subtitle, which is the H two heading level here. Type Tasks and press Enter. A heading style gives the document structure. Simply making ordinary text larger and bold does not give it the same heading structure. Click List. Type Plant herbs and press Enter. Type Water the new plants and press Enter. Type Collect the tools. Press Enter twice to finish the list. Each bullet should describe a clear action. Keep the wording parallel so the tasks are easy to scan. Click the plus button for Quick actions. Type table in the search field. Choose Table. In the grid, choose two columns and three rows. This gives us a heading row and two schedule entries. Use a table for short information that needs to be compared across rows. In the first row, enter Task in the left cell and Time in the right cell. In the second row, enter Planting and ten am. In the third row, enter Tidying up and twelve noon. Click each cell before typing. Check that each activity is beside its intended time. These times are fictional course examples. Click File. Choose Page setup. Select A four. The document now has a fixed page size. Check for awkward line breaks and content pushed onto another page. Our title, introduction, task list and schedule all fit on one page. Click Share and choose Download. Check that File type is PDF. Wait until Download is available. Click Download. Wait for Canva to show Completed. Find the downloaded PDF and open it in your usual reader. A completed export still needs a content and layout check. This is the actual exported PDF. The complete title, introduction and three tasks are present. The table pairs Planting with ten am and Tidying up with twelve noon. There is one A four page and no empty extra page. Now make your own work plan, export it, and read the file as your recipient would.
