  1. 0:00 Select text and voice

Save an important piece of information as audio so you can listen to it later. Keep IntoWords open with the Danish profile and your text ready. Here we save the time and place of the meeting from a message in Notepad.

Click the Danish flag and choose Profile settings.

Choose Reading. Open the voice list, and choose Stine. The voice is used in the audio file you save.

Close the profile settings with the cross.

Select only the text you want to save. Here we choose the sentence We meet Thursday at 3 p.m. in room four.

  2. 0:55 Save the audio file

Open More with the three lines, and select Save audio file. If you already have the button on the toolbar, you can use it directly.

In Save As, we check the folder. It says Documents here, so we know where the file will be saved.

Give the file a clear name. Here we write the time and place of the meeting. Keep the WAV file type, and click Save.

  3. 1:39 Find the file and listen

Open File Explorer with the yellow folder on the taskbar. Select Documents, and find the file you just saved.

Select the audio file, and press Enter. It opens in Windows Media Player here.

Press Play, and listen for both the time and the room.

We heard Thursday at 3 p.m. in room four. That matches the selected text. The file is in Documents and can be opened again.

  4. 2:30 Try it yourself

Try with a short piece of information from your own text. If you cannot find the file, check the folder you chose in Save As. If you hear something wrong, correct the text and save a new audio file.

Your named WAV file is in the selected folder, and you have opened it and heard the meeting time and place.
