Written steps
  1. 0:00 Find the settings

Make a frequently used function easier to find. Keep IntoWords open and logged in. Here we add Save audio file to the toolbar. A short text is already selected in Notepad.

Open More with the three lines, and select Settings.

Choose Toolbar on the left. The switches show which buttons are visible.

  2. 0:31 Show and use a button

Turn on Save audio file. The switch turns blue, and the new button appears on the toolbar.

Close the settings with the cross. The button with sound waves and a down arrow is now directly available.

Press the new button. The Save As window opens for the selected text. This shows that the shortcut works. We make the audio file itself in the film about saving text as audio.

Here we choose Cancel, because we are only customizing the toolbar.

  3. 1:05 Check the saved selection

Open More and Settings again. Select Toolbar, and check that Save audio file is still turned on.

  4. 1:23 Try it yourself

Close the window when you are done. Keep the buttons you use most. If you hide a button here, you can still find the function under More. Try adjusting one button yourself and check the result.

The Save audio file button is visible on the toolbar, opens Save as, and stays on when you open the settings again.
