Written steps
0:00 Create a personal technical glossary
If you often write about the same topic, your own subject word list can help with the difficult words. We collect three bike words and use one of them in a message. Keep IntoWords open with the Danish profile.
Click the Danish flag and choose Profile settings.
Choose Word suggestions, and open Subject word lists with the button on the right.
Expand My words, and select Create new subject glossary.
Click the pencil at the top and give the list a name you can find again. We call it Cykelholdet.
Click in the field “Tilføj dine ord”. Type “cykelventil”, “bremsekabel” and “lappegrej”, one word on each line. Use the correct spelling so the list helps you next time.
Click Add. Scroll down and check that all three words are in the word list.
Press Save. IntoWords returns to the overview, where your new list now appears.
1:37 Choose the list and turn on suggestions
Check the box for Cykelholdet so the list is selected. Close the list and profile settings with their X buttons.
Open Word suggestions. Click the sliders in the suggestion window, and turn on Subject word lists. Close the settings again.
2:09 Use a word in the message
Click in the message, and type the first six letters of “cykelventil”.
Choose “cykelventil” from the subject-term suggestions. The word is inserted after “Jeg mangler en”.
Click back in the message and end with a full stop.
Now it says “Jeg mangler en cykelventil”. The list is saved, and we have used one of its words in a real sentence.
2:39 Try it yourself
Make a small list for your own subject or hobby. If the words are missing from the suggestions, both the list must be selected and Subject word lists must be turned on in the suggestion window.
The list “Cykelholdet” is saved with three words, and you have inserted “cykelventil” in a complete sentence.
