  1. 0:00 Choose a saved subject word list

Use a technical term list when you write about a specific topic. Keep IntoWords open with the Danish profile. Here we use the list from the film Create your own technical term list. Watch it first if you want to make the same list.

Open Word suggestions with the list button in the toolbar.

Click the sliders in the suggestion window and turn Subject word lists on.

Click the pencil next to Subject word lists. Here you choose which lists to use.

Expand My words. Tick Bike team, the small list with three bike words.

Close the list window with the cross. Also close the small settings if they are still open.

  2. 0:59 Insert a technical term into the message

Click after the start of the message, “Jeg skal skifte et”. Type the first four letters of “bremsekabel”.

Bremsekabel appears as a technical term with a green highlight. It is the cable for the bicycle brake. Choose the word because it fits your message.

Click after the inserted word, and end with a period.

Now it says “Jeg skal skifte et bremsekabel”. We have used an exact subject term without typing the whole word ourselves.

  3. 1:39 Try it yourself

Try with another word from your list. If it is missing, check both the tick box next to the list and the Technical glossaries switch. Use a few relevant lists so the suggestions fit the topic.

Your saved list is selected, and “bremsekabel” is inserted into the message.
